Dr. Nick Esmonde, MD, MPH is a fellowship-trained Gender Surgeon in Portland, Oregon who works almost exclusively with transgender and non-binary patients. Dr. Esmonde worked in the Transgender Health Program at OHSU during his plastic surgery residency and subsequently completed a Gender Surgery Fellowship with Dr. Toby Meltzer and Dr. Ellie Zara Ley. Dr. Esmonde joined The Meltzer Clinic as an Associate Surgeon and offers the full spectrum of gender-affirming surgeries in Portland.

Dr. Esmonde offers two types of Top Surgery: Double Incision with nipple grafts and Peri-Areolar. He has considerable experience performing chest surgery for nonbinary patients and is pleased to omit nipple grafts, if desired. Additional male chest contouring and excision of excess tissue can be done using liposuction, if needed.
