Dr. Helena Guarda, MD, is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who is committed to offering masculinization surgeries as part of her LGBT-friendly surgery practice in Suffolk, Virginia. She is board-certified and performs Top Surgery and Body Sculpting. Dr. Guarda offers the Peri-areolar and Double Incision (with nipple grafts) methods of Top Surgery. For patients who want to further masculinize their body contour, Dr. Guarda can also perform Body Masculinizing Liposuction, targeting areas where a more male contour is desired, such as the hips, buttocks and thighs.

How to Book a Consultation
Dr. Guarda is available for in-person consultations. To book a consult, contact Dr. Guarda's LGBT-friendly office staff. A surgery date can usually be booked within weeks of your consultation.
While Dr. Guarda practices informed consent, a letter from a therapist recommending surgery is sometimes required. For example, if using insurance or Medicare, letters are required.
Patients must be 18 years or older and in good general health. A mammogram may be required depending on age and history.
The cost of Top Surgery with Dr. Guarda can be determined following your consultation. Dr. Guarda accepts cash, credit cards, certified check, Care Credit, insurance and Medicare. She does not accept Medicaid.
